Spike Buckley
Founder, Earth’s Call & Grimley Capital
Spike Buckley founded Earth's Call Fund in May 2019. The organization was launched with a three-day conference on the grounds of The Aspen Institute in Aspen, Colorado and was attended by 700 invited guests, including many luminaries in the environmental movement. In August of that year he was given the Earth Legacy Leadership Award by the American Renewable Energy Institute at AREDAY, an annual three -day environmental conference held in Aspen.
In 2021 he Co-Founded One Earth Philanthropy and served as a member of its Board of Directors until 2023. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Climate Democracy Initiative, Pharmajet, Inc. and Cryptomill Technologies. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Grace Gorilla Rehabilitation and Education Center. He is an avid supporter and funder of Conservation Colorado, the League of Conservation Voters, the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, NextGen America and the Denver Dumb Friends League among others.
He is the founder and owner of Grimley Capital, which invests in commercial real estate and early stage companies, which offer solutions to environmental and social problems.
He is a graduate of The Episcopal Academy and a member of its Board of Trustees. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
